Background
Unilever’s UniOps Transformation agenda incorporates the design and implementation of its Integrated Operations (iOPs) capabilities enabled by technology delivery across global Unilever businesses.
iOPs will transform the efficiency and effectiveness with which significant elements of its Customer Development, Supply Chain and Finance operations are delivered.
iOPS Technology function within iOPS Programme is ramping up resources to engage Markets (MCOs), Global Technology Platforms and our third- party vendor organisations. The role will sit within the iOPs Technology organisation working closely with Market Activation Squads, Market SMEs, Geo IT, iOPs LT and our partners, to own and deliver an excellent and efficient technology Service to all stakeholders. Ensuring that the Service is delivered in line with the overall iOPs Solution Blueprint and Programme timelines, delivering a seamless transition and excellent end user experience will be crucial to success.
Main purpose of job:
The main accountability of this role is the quality of iOPS IT services delivered to a geography. In order to successfully develop his/her duties, the person will make use of IT Service management processes and will need strong analytical and communication skills to coordinate actions across several different technical teams, ensuring responsibilities with clarity and transparency.
Key accountabilities:
As part of a new team, this role will be responsible for the implementation of IT Service Management processes across different technical areas in iOPS, working with workstreams in cooperation team members.
Act as escalation point for issues related to the service catalogue under his/her responsibility, taking initiative to reach out platform teams, coordinate taskforces and communicate to stakeholders.
Key capability in delivering through others and holding technical areas responsible.
Assist in driving the quality of iOPS services by implementing and reviewing relevant kpis, creating and managing service improvement plans, escalating service performance issues to iOPS leadership
Ensure proper transition to run of iOPS projects ensuring that all requisites are in place for a sustainable delivery of the services in line with users expectations
Experience and qualifications required:
Experience in IT Service Management processes (incident, problem, change and service review)
Excellent communication, project management and organisational skills
Functional knowledge of Supply Chain, Customer Development and Finance technologies and processes is desirable
Confident, strong self-starter, able to voice and articulate concerns, seek detail and build understanding
Ability to build strong relationships within own team, but also with people from other Unilever teams and vendors
Experience in working with platforms, incident management and the delivery of service review plans
