The opportunity

The selected candidate will:

Oversees the work of project teams to deliver solution or infrastructure development services for the most complex or multiple projects, being accountable for the quality of development outputs and consistently strives to go above and beyond. Takes accountability for the design, development, delivery and maintenance of a suite of solutions or infrastructure and drives the development of relevant standards. Works with other departments to establish a design, technology, product development and vendor strategy. Looking for a leader who consistently thinks about new creative modern approaches and is empowered to make those decisions.

Your key responsibilities

Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve company data.

Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming.

Assess database implementation procedures to ensure they comply with internal and external regulations.

Install and organize information systems to guarantee company functionality.

Prepare accurate database design and architecture reports for management and executive teams.

Proficient in providing MDM solutions

In-depth understanding of database structure principles

Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements

Knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques

Expertise in SQL and Oracle , No SQl DBs

Monitor the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new features.

Recommend solutions to improve new and existing database systems.

Educate staff members through training and individual support.

Offer support by responding to system problems in a timely manner.

Skills and attributes for success

Highly advanced technical proficiency iSQL and Oracle , No SQl DBs

Skilled in solutioning of Master Data Management requirements

Skilled in Data mining and segmentation

Good experience in data engineering , designing and optimising data modelling techniques

To qualify for the role you must have

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Mathematics, or related field preferred

At least 8 to 10 years in a Data engineering role

Demonstrate excellent Data Science , Data engineering & automation skills in the context of cloud based global platform/product delivery using continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD)

5+ years functional knowledge of programming scripting and data science languages\tools such as JavaScript, PowerShell, Python, Bash, .NET, SQL etc.

Experience with MS SQL, , Azure Data Factory, Docker, Containerization tools

Experience with multi-geo, multi-tier service design and operations

Delivery using modern methodologies especially SAFe Agile, Iterative, Waterfall, etc

Communicate fluently in English, both written and verbal

Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills to contribute as a leading member of global, distributed teams passionate about delivering quality services and solutions

Able to distil complex technical challenges to measurable and explainable decisions

Demonstrate ability to learn new and emerging technologies with ability to rapidly define engineering standards and produce automation code

Operational abilities including early life support and driving root cause analysis and remediation

Ideally, you’ll also have

Hands on experience on Azure cloud, Azure DevOps

Source control Management (git)

Knowledge of ARM Templates

Hands on experience in Scripting (PowerShell or Python)

Must have hands-on experience Azure DevOps, CI-CD pipeline, Docker, Containerization etc

Ansible

Relevant experience in either an internal or external software or platform engineering role, or similar

Microsoft AZ400 Certified
